Gambling licences and what each one means
A licence names the regulator that oversees an operator and the place you can complain to. It does not say the operator is good, and it does not say the operator may serve you where you live.

How to read a licence
Operators usually print a licence number in the site footer. Look that number up on the regulator’s own register, which each page above links to, and check the name and the status.
A licence covers what its regulator says it covers. Read the “where it applies” line on each page before you rely on it.
Each page also lists what the licence does not tell you, with the regulator’s own wording behind every statement.
